Our Terms & Conditions...
By booking with any of the venues, you are also agreeing to and being bound by our individual Terms & Conditions as set out below:
Wildstar Discos reserve the right to amend, change, add or withdraw these at any time without prior notice
Not all music requests can be guaranteed to be played (either pre-requested via our "DJ Music Request" forms or on the night), due to the fact we may not have a particular track, they can not be obtained prior, the information was not submitted to us by the required time or we simply made a decision not to play it.
We do not have the facility to download tracks on the night or during the show, this is not possible nor is the option of connecting or "plugging in" a mobile phone or any other device to obtain music tracks from you.
Downloading of and/or connecting to YouTube (or similar websites) is also not a possibility, this would be an infringement of copyright. We simply can not play unauthorised/illegal downloaded/copied or "ripped" music from the internet or any other source other than what we have purchased from our legal subscription service to which we are fully paid up members of.
We reserve the final right in what is or is not played.
If there are tracks that you definitely want playing, we strongly advise you (if we haven't advised otherwise) to provide these yourself on the night. The ideal format is MP3 via a USB memory stick.
If providing a CD disc, we can not guarantee we will be able to use or play these as the vast majority of our venues do not use or have access to CD players.
Please note: Original CD's only please, not copies
The disco will start & finish at the contracted times set by each individual venue. There will NOT be any advancement on these times, unless pre-arranged & paid for in advance. The charges are set by each venue.
Karaoke/Games/Quizzes/MC'ing/Hosting your night etc. are NOT included in the disco price. We will purely DJ your event & play music.
This includes children's parties, if you book a children's party at any of the venues & we are also booked to cover the disco, this will not include us entertaining the children with games etc. We will purely DJ the event, we recommend you hire a separate children's entertainer for this purpose.
However, Karaoke can be pre-booked for an additional charge. Click here to book this.
Please note general singing over the microphone (when karaoke has not been pre-booked & arranged) is not permitted by us or the venue.
Please be aware that we do not always have the ability to use the technology of "video" or are able to project/show your personal videos, photos or slides onto our screens. This service is 100% complimentary to which you will not/have not been charged for in anyway.
This service is ONLY by prior arrangement & cannot always be facilitated.
If you have any other entertainment booked or planned for the event (i.e. Band, singer(s), cabaret act, comedian, magician, hypnotist etc) they MUST be totally self-contained and provide their own equipment (where required). The use of our disco/PA/lighting equipment in whole or in part including speakers & microphones etc is NOT permitted.
This also includes acts wanting to "plug into" our systems. We may in certain circumstances agree the use of some or part of our equipment if this has been agreed beforehand & the relevant hire fee has been paid.
Please note that ALL equipment in each & every venue including TV's, Projectors, Speakers & Lighting is the personal property of Wildstar Discos.
Our DJ's have a right to perform in a safe & friendly environment and not feel or be threatened in anyway. We reserve the right to terminate our services should any physical or verbal abuse or intimidating behaviour is made towards our DJ's.
In these circumstances no refund by Wildstar Discos will be given.
Whilst we have excellent DJ back-up, all our equipment is PAT tested annually, meets the standard set by our venues & every reasonable safeguard is in place, we cannot be held responsible for any sudden malfunction or breakdown of any electrical equipment as this is an unavoidable occurrence and is out of our control.
We will however make every effort to rectify the situation. In the unlikely event of a non-performance (and we are found to be at fault) or if a total failure occurs we will liaise with our venue & look to make a total refund in full. In this situation this will be the full extent of our liability to you.
The responsibility for any malicious or accidental damage/theft from/to any of our disco/audio equipment caused by any person(s) within your party will rest entirely with you "the client". The full cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item(s) (including carriage costs) will be invoiced to the client also.
We reserve the right to also terminate the disco in such events & no refund will be given.
